You may have a clear picture in your mind of how your gown will look, or there may just be fragments of images you are drawn to. Listening to your ideas during your design consultation, I'll help you bring to light the perfect silhouette, and you'll be able to compare the drape, texture and shade of different silk samples, here at my studio.
Following this meeting, you'll receive a beautiful design sketch of your Bridal Gown, silk swatches, and details about booking, for you to consider at home.

The Experience
Creating the dream Gown in your design sketch is a collaborative experience between you and me. Your Bridal fittings will be a rare opportunity to relax and enjoy some calm and time to be creative.
To begin, you will be trying on a mock-up of your gown, called a "calico toile". This ensures the fit is perfect on you, and together we can decide on the exact shape and style. Once we have reached the perfect design, I then use the toile as the pattern to make up your real gown. The remaining fittings are there to make sure your gown looks and feels how you dreamt it would, in every detail.
The experience is so flexible, that your vision can evolve during your fittings - sometimes it is not until we start working on the toile that the details of the design fall into place. And this is the beauty of having your dream Bridal Gown made for you.
A Couture Bridal Gown booking typically requires up to eight months notice, and will cost from £1750.
