Designing your outfit The Glove Gown Collection provides you with the freedom to design your own Bridal Gown. Choose from the bodices and skirts shown, and order in any combination. Usually outfits are made as separates, but the VENICE and BELLA combination can also be made as a dress. There are some stunning accessories to choose from, or you could design your own. Fabric and Colours Your outfit can be made in any
fabric and any colour. Prices shown include fabric
from our range of over 200 shades, for which swatches
are available. If
you would prefer, feel
free to provide your own fabric and we will adjust the
price of the outfit accordingly. Please call or email
to request fabric swatches, or come to see the full
range in person.
Ordering your outfit
(Sizes, Fittings and Alterations) Usually a bride would come to the
studio in Witley to try on samples of the styles shown
in the brochure, look at fabrics and be measured to
determine which is the correct size and length to
order. You're
welcome to bring any friends or family with you, and
you'll find a warm welcome in a relaxed environment. Following this appointment, Caroline
would post you a free design sketch of your chosen
style, with fabric swatches and a quote for making
your Gown. If you would like to go ahead, you would be
asked to return the booking form with your payment,
and you would then be called to arrange a fitting and
completion date. Gowns are made in the standard size
relevant to your measurements, and are available in
sizes 8 - 28, in your desired length. Once completed,
your outfit can then be altered to fit if necessary,
the cost for which is not included in the garment
price, as it is dependent on the requirements of each
individual. Caroline is able to fit and carry out
these adjustments, or if it is easier, you could have
these completed by a dressmaker locally to you. Caroline specialises in making and
altering Couture Bridal Gowns. If you would like to

Caroline to chat further. Another option, is to choose
one garment, for example a skirt, from the Glove Gown
Collection, and to have maybe the bodice made to
measure to your own design.
Quality & Returns All Bridal garments have silk lining
and Bridal interlining, to ensure they hold their
shape correctly and are beautifully comfortable to
wear. Bridal bodices are boned in every seam, with
additional boning over the bust, for added support and
enhanced fit. As the Glove
Gown Collection requires that each garment is unique
to the person for whom it is made, we are unable to
re-sell unwanted garments, so cannot refund unless the
garment is faulty. However if you cancel your booking
before we have ordered your fabric, then we will
refund your payment, less a 20% admin fee. This does
not affect your statutory rights.
Timescales To make a Glove Gown outfit, we need
a comfortable minimum of 4 months. If you are
interested in having a Gown made to measure to your
own design,
Caroline would need between 6 and 9 months
notice to accept a booking, depending on the time of
year.
