Designing your outfits                                                                 

The Glove Collection provides you with the freedom to design your own Bridesmaids' outfits. Choose from the bodices and skirts shown, and order in any combination. Usually outfits are made as separates, but the VENICE and BELLA  combination can also be made as a dress.

Fabric and Colours

Your outfits can be made in any fabric and any colour. Prices shown include fabric from our range of over 200 shades, for which swatches are available.  If you would prefer, feel free to provide your own fabric and we will adjust the price of the outfit accordingly. Please call or email to request fabric swatches, or come to see the full range in person.

Ordering your outfits (Sizes, Fittings and Alterations)

You are welcome to come to the studio in Witley with your bridesmaids to try on samples of the styles shown in the brochure, look at fabrics and for the girls to be measured to determine which are the correct sizes and lengths to order.  

Following this appointment, Caroline would post you a free design sketch of your chosen styles, with fabric swatches and a quote for making the outfits. If you would like to go ahead, you would be asked to return the booking form with your payment, and you would then be called to arrange a collection date.

If your bridesmaids are unable to come to the studio, you or they can choose from the styles in the brochure,  and be measured at home, following the size chart and measuring tips on the website.

Garments are made in the standard size relevant to measurements, and are available in sizes 8 - 28, in your desired length. Once completed, the outfits can then be altered to fit if necessary, the cost for which is not included in the garment price, as it is dependent on the requirements of each individual.  

We can recommend independent, experienced dressmakers throughout the UK, so each bridesmaid can have the alterations completed locally to them, with no need to come to Witley for fittings.

Returns

As the Glove Collection requires that each garment is unique to the person for whom it is made, we are unable to re-sell unwanted garments, so cannot refund unless the garment is faulty. However if you cancel your booking before we have ordered your fabric, then we will refund your payment, less a 20% admin fee. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Timescales

To make a Glove outfit usually requires a comfortable minimum of 4 months, depending on the time of year.
