The Designer

Caroline has been designing and dressmaking for 20 years, learning the trade through the family business and studying Couture Bridal wear at the London College of Fashion. Having spent a year in Florence, and gaining a degree in Italian, she worked for Monsoon for 10 years, the last 3 of which were spent as an Area Manager. 

These experiences result in a range of diverse skills being developed, from the ability to listen to your ideas, visualize a design and then create a beautifully fitting finished garment, to exceptional fashion trend awareness and a clear understanding of what suits different body shapes.  Designs for bridal gowns and bridesmaids’ dresses are simple, modern and versatile.

When you come for a fitting or consultation, you’ll find a warm welcome in a relaxed environment.  Although the studio is well established, professional and rapidly expanding, it is Caroline’s priority to maintain the personal service that instils confidence and trust.  As a result, most of her business comes from recommendations. 

The Studio

Caroline is based in Surrey, working from her studio in Witley, and exhibits annually at the National Wedding Show in London.

All Couture Bridal gowns, dress fittings, and wedding dress alterations are carried out personally by Caroline, with great attention to detail and care to achieve the style, fit and finish desired by each individual. You can see this work in progress when you visit the studio.

Caroline also has a very experienced team with whom she has worked for several years, manufacturing the garments from her gLOVE and gLOVEgOWN collections for Brides and Bridesmaids. This enables a flexible level of productivity, whilst achieving excellent and consistent quality standards.
